symbolism appears, through the drawing which mingles with an abstract
thought .There
comes out the light which belongs to the absolute perception of clarity
after death.In
looking for the spiritual essence in purity, the whole physical aspect
of the subject
disappears and lets out his soul described through lines, colours, and
shapes,which all
have their own meaning. He creates the following collections :spiritual
portraits,a
twelve work collection and P .Francisco de Orihuela, an eight painting
collection.

Birth of his daughter ,Maria.

to express the
thought of the character in the pictorial works.

Agency of the Vatican after the meeting ,the artist made the following
comment :
« It was a very moving event. To be here, and to see the Holy Father
inspires
respect »Peris Carbonell said to the EFE Agency, and he recalled
that he had been
working in mystic painting for eleven years
« The Pope stepped back, looked at the painting and was impressed
»asserted Peris
Carbonell who presented the Holy Father with the work of art in a semi-private
audience ,preceding the public one, taking place every Wednesday.
« Then he took both my hands and told me in perfect Spanish
« I bless the work of
art and you, as an artist and as a human being » went on Peris
Carbonell who had
explained to the Pope his commitment to mystic works of art and the
process of
conception in the oilcanvass offered the Vatican.
Peris Carbonell explained to the EFE journalist that he had taken nothing
into account
to paint the canvass and that it was,for four or five yerars, the result
of the study of
the Holy Face and the expression of an internal feeling.
The Spanish painter underlined the fact that he had painted different
oil canvasses
about the theme of holy faces and that among them he selected the most
suitable to
the Holy Father.
The painter from Valencia asserted that his commitment to mystic painting
began
with the creation of spiritual portraits of saints, like St Peter Nolasco,in

his life and after, like a music composer I create painting »,he
